- The Keith Hook papers provide a wealth of information about the Hartford Public Schools in the 1960s.
- The Hills Block businesses collection was a puzzle. How it all came together remains a mystery.
- I have driven by the site of the Neptune Twine and Cord Mills many times. A Neptune sign remains on the property.
- I have long been interested in woman suffrage, and it was great to see my great aunts names on the Hartford City and Town Elections, Lists of Women Voters, 1894-1919. This is also part of a special collection of Hartford related papers and records that I recently organized.

- Entries for four collections, cataloged 2007-2008
Exhibit
- My final project at the Bentley Library was the research and creation of a web exhibit dedicated to the Women of Michigan. In addition to expanding my web programing skills, the creation of this site necessitated working with Adobe Photoshop software and FileMaker Pro databases.
- I was also able to launch a corresponding physical exhibit, which was on display for the Michigan Archival Association annual meeting in June 2007.

Research and Writing
- I enjoy contributing to the CHS manuscript blog. Two of my favorites from the past year are The Book Club with No Name and Mary and Stephen Tilden: Marital Woes in the 1730s.
- Two paper topics for the courses I took at Trinity College were fallout shelters and Hartford's Cedar Hill Cemetery.
- During the Fall 2006 semester at Michigan I wrote two research papers, both focusing on Russian-Jewish immigrant anarchist women. The introduction to one of the papers is available as a PDF. Most of my research was done using the Labadie Collection at U-M's Special Collections Library.
- Eliza Read Sunderland and her views on education were the topic of a Winter 2007 paper. My primary resources are from Mrs. Sunderland's papers, held by the Bentley Historical Library.
